Couples Coaching /Therapy
Couples therapy is a therapeutic/coaching process designed to help couples improve their relationship, navigate challenges and improve their communication skills. As a licensed therapist I facilitate open and honest communication between partners. I help couples explore the root cause of their issues, understand each other’s perspectives, and develop effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Within the therapy I use evidence-based techniques tailored to both your (couples) specific needs. These may include cognitive behavioral therapy, emotional-focused therapy, or behavioral interventions. The therapy process encourages emotional expression, empathy, and active listening, fostering a deeper understanding between partners. This approach resolves the undercurrent enabling long term sustainable change.
Couples therapy addresses various concerns, such as communication breakdowns, childhood trauma, unresolved conflicts, trust issues, infidelity, sexual difficulties, co-dependency issues, abandonment & attachment issues or significant life changes. The ultimate goal is to rebuild trust, enhance intimacy, and strengthen the emotional connection between partners. Successful couples therapy empowers couples with the tools to navigate challenges independently and create a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.
